Events: 18 Nov 2025, 12-13 h, Gorlaeus CE0.12 Interfaculty Lunch: Writing a popular science book |
Nov 18th: Interfaculty Lunch: Writing a popular science book Have you ever considered to make your research accessible to a broader audience by means of writing a popular science book? One of our community members, Thomas Moerland, recently did this, next to his busy job as early career researcher and assistant professor. He will tell us all about his journey during the next interfaculty lunch. There will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions about both the book, as well as the process. As always, registration + lunch are free!
Also, feel free to support the hard work of Thomas by buying a copy at the local book store.

Focusing on communities in Ethiopia’s Omo Valley, she will investigate how language, culture, and environment shape different ways of understanding spatial and temporal relations. Congratulations to Sara, and of course to all fourteen Leiden Vidi awardees! 👏 |
